Save and load layers

Create a new layer

Follow these steps to create a new layer:

1. Specify a start and end point

   From the Tools, select Start.

   From the Tools tab, select End.

2. Create a new filter chain

   On the Filter Chains tab, select .

   Enter a new filter chain name, and select OK.

   On the Filters tab, from the Category drop-down, select Editing.

   Click and drag Range Reduction to the new filter chain.

   On the Filters tab, from the Category drop-down, select Coordinate Conversion.

   Click and drag Coordinate Conversion OSGB to the new filter chain.

   On the Filters tab, from the Category drop-down, select Export.

   Click and drag Export To Layer to the new filter chain.

3. Save the new layer

   From the Layer Manager tab, right-click the new point-cloud layer.

   Select Save To File....

   Rename the file and select Save.

Load a layer

Follow these steps to load a layer file:

1. Select a file

   From the Layer Manager tab, right-click the Frame Set layer

   Select Load From File...

   From Windows Explorer select the .lpx file.
